Our Story
Careology was designed and built when our founder, Paul Landau, witnessed treatment firsthand after his wife’s diagnosis. By combining this intimate insight with fifteen years of consumer health-tech experience, he was able to meet the clear need for support for those going through treatment, and overseeing the treatment of others.
A cancer diagnosis means stepping into often unfamiliar territory with lots to learn and remember. It can be daunting, and often proves to be a logistical challenge with endless appointments to attend and schedules to follow. It’s normal that some people who are living with cancer will be hesitant to contact their healthcare teams for advice on symptoms or side effects, or to avoid an inconvenient trip to the hospital. However, this can risk issues advancing.
By creating thoughtful software and useful tools which have been tested in clinical settings by leading oncologists, Careology draws up a unique picture of each person’s needs. Our approach to combining best-in-class digital innovation with clinical expertise is proven to improve the treatment experience. It’s our aim to make this accessible to every person living with cancer or involved in cancer care.
